For today I am playing along with few challenges. This card was made under impression of Muse current challenge and card by Michele Ferguson.
I just adore this sweet watercolor card with black outlines. I could not think about anything better for my card but blooming apple tree. I know it’s common to be amazed be cherry blossom, and I do like the wonderful look of pink beauty, but frankly saying, I love apple blossom more and here is what I came up with.
The background for the tree I made with watercolor paints. It’s still hard for me to manage water going around everywhere and to make colors looks natural and beautiful. You see my second attempt at making a scene, first went down to the recycling bin :).
After drying and adoring my background I stamp Art Impression Tree and grass, and added white blossoms with Simon’s white pigment ink. To finish my card I stamped Verve sentiment and splash scene with some Ranger Liquid Pearls.
I want to enter this card into Simon’s Make Your Own Background Challenge
and Deconstructed Sketch # 195
Thank you for stopping by!
