Today’s Autumn Sympathy card is a little bit mellow and sweet-sounding. It’s an Autumn, right?!
These beautiful leaves are from Simon. Can’t say how I love them. So beautiful and darling!
I started off from watercolouring a piece of watercolour paper and stamping maple leaves with oil pastels on another.
After the paint dried I cut leaves and arranged them on the stamped panel. The next step was a sentiment. I didn’t want to have any black sentiment on this card. In my opinion it would ruin the softness and sentimentality of the card. But which colour??? I cut turquoise light and dark, then orange and yellow, and ended up with gold. Hope you like it too 🙂
