Happy Little Stampers Second Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Happy Little Stampers Blog Hop! Hope you have fun and find lots and lots of inspiration!
2nd release blog hop graphicI am exited to show my cards, made using Mix Mash stamp set. This stamp got me in its net just I saw it. Shapes and HB sentiments are fabulous. You can make variety of cards and the most exciting things, this sentiment is really good for masculine themed card. My first card is elegant, classy and a little bit playful, as I added bow in not serious patterns 🙂IMG_5098To make a background for bows I stamped HB sentiment in two gray shades, using my MISTI. I did stamp it just in two shades of gray, but got an ombre effect. That’s because I stamped first line in Memento London Fog, second line – in the same Memento London Fog, but stamped it twice, to make it looks darker. The same with another two lines – third line in Memento Gray Flannel stamped ones, forth line in Memento Gray Flannel stamped twice. Another trick – enamel dots.  Frankly speaking, I do not have many colors of them in my stash,  I have a bunch of white and I color them in any colors I need with Copics.
Lastly, for the black card base I embossed chevrons with clear embossing powder to make an edge for my “white shirt”.
My second card is in lovely color combo – purple and gray
IMG_5105For this card I stamped lots of circles/bubbles. For the solid circles I used Memento London Fog and SSS Wisteria inks. The outlined circles, as well as sentiment, were stamped with SSS Hot Mama ink.
My next card is a Christmas Card. Yes, Christmas Card made with that amazing Mix Mash Stamp Set. I use solid and outlined circles to make a wreath. I tamped them in SSS Teeny Bikini, Doll Pink and Memento Black. I added small snowflake looking motives from Big Bold Sentiment set and embossed Seasons Greetings from Mixed Christmas Sentiments stamp set.
