I hope this message finds everyone well and warm!
This is my first card for the BBTB 2 challenge as a member of Design Team and I am very excited to present you my Enjoy Ice-Cream Card :). The challenge for this week is the Shape Card. That means you can use any cartridges and any shapes to make your card. Isn’t it fun?
So I decided to go with ice-cream cone card. Even though there was a thought to use the most loved by me Elegant Edges cartridge for this card, but looks like love-of-my-life ice-cream simply won that battle.
I used Straight from the Nest cartridge Ice-Cream image. I did quite a cutting. From the white card stock I cut 2 bases 4 1/2″. Then I added 2 same images in 4 1/2″ size from the kraft card stock to cover the white bases. Next I cut 2 pink 4 1/2″ and 1 white 4 3/4″ ice-cream scoops. And last cut – 4 3/4″ brown ice-cream scoop. Who won’t like the ice-cream with chocolate sauce?! 🙂 There is no sauce image on cartridge, that’s why I made <Ice-Crm-s> image with Cricut and cut to desirable shape with scissors. Â After gluing everything together, I decided to make some faux stitches with Holtz’ black distress marker. Then I colored cherry with red marker and covered it with glossy accent. Isn’t it yummy? Peach liquid pearls and sentiment from Verve helped me to finish this funny card.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
I’m sure you want to check out what the rest of the DT have created so please head over to the BBTB2Â blog for the inspiration!
I want to enter this card into Sweet As You See It challenge – any sweet projects 🙂
