Hello everyone!
Today I want to share card which is a little bit not mine. I mean the style, or even technique is really strange for me. But… always that BUT :). Day 4 of Online CAS classes gave some inspirational push to make textured background and I made this watercolor/embossed card. Honestly, I like, no, just love this card. I spent hours doing it. First – watercoloring – I use Sweet Cherry and Mustard color shines from Heidi Swapp. Added too much water and needed to wait quite a long time to emboss it. The first coat of embossing was done quickly and easy. After long waiting (it is the hardest part – waiting), I applied another coat with leaf stencil. And again waiting…
As you can see, second layer didn’t look perfect. I think I chose wrong stencil. After the creative job was done I have got another challenge. For this card I decided to go with As You See It palette Calypso Corral, Crushed Curry and White. The color shines helped me to make the watercoloring in these colors, but than I couldn’t find the base in corral. I didn’t have any card stock in that color. That’s way I cut panel from DCWV Corral & Navy paper stack, which I’ve bought for my daughter album and glued to the white base. Finished everything with some diecut branches and heart.
I want to enter this card into
