Pink Bike Card

IMG_3214Hello!
It’s time for brand new challenge over BBTB2 challenge blog and here is my card. This time Susan chose a great theme – use a bicycle on your project. Do you like riding the bicycle? I do. Even though  I do not have bicycle right now. I decided I make one, I really love and some day my dream come true. The image from Bits & Pieces cartridge caught my eye . My grandma used to have exactly the same bike, just blue.  I think I’d love to have pink/gray one, with basket in front :), I am not sure, what I am going to carry there, but basket looks fancy. Basket image is from  Summer Celebrations cartridge.
The bike is really small, my card measurement is  4′ by 5 1/4″, the bike is around 2-2 1/5″. Frankly speaking, I’ve just got the Explore Air and still amazed how pressingly it can cut images. Every time try to cut tiny and tiny-tiny images and it works!

IMG_3199Because I chose Cardabilities current sketch, I was in need of the road. I cut chevron frame from Edge to Edge cartridge and stencil the road with Wplus9 Fairy Dust ink. After stamping sentiment I decided I needed some frame. I did a little doodling around the edges on the front and inside the card.
IMG_3202Flowers and leaves are from different cartridges: Creative Cards, Dinosaur Tracks, Creativebug-Flowers.

Totally adorable!! Love the colour of the bike and all the stitching lines add such a fun detail. Love the chevron stenciled background that shows movement. Great job! Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.
