Hello!
Monday didn’t forget to come :(. From the other side it’s time for a brand new challenge at BBTB2. Mollie is hosting this challenge and asking to use an image representing music or dance.
Whole my family is in love with music and I didn’t have any trouble with inspiration. I decided to go with iron-on T-shirt for my little drummer. Frankly speaking, I never thought Daniel is going to play drums. I am piano lady, my husband – guitar, my daughter – piano, flute, singing. There is no explanation why Daniel chose the drums. Once, when he was 4.5 year old we went to music store. Daniel found there shiny blue drums set and we didn’t left the store until he convinced us to buy that set. It’s already 1.5 year since that day and Daniel still plays drums. Looks like it’s a love at the first sight :).
But back to work. I’ve started from buying few rolls of Cricut Iron-on and Old Navy white cotton t-shirt.
The image I chose is beautiful drum set from Quarter Note cartridge.
It was my first cut and I mirrored the image, but put the iron-on sheet on the wrong side with plastic cover up. That’s why I had to cut it 3 times, to go through clear plastic lol.
I created some SVG (words and stars) with Illustrator to match the set and exported them to Cricut Design Space.
I cut every letter separately and pilled away the plastic cover before ironing.
I was surprised how easy and quickly I did ironing. All elements stick fine to the shirt and here is what I’ve got
Cool? Right? My kids just love it and I’ve got another order, to make girl’s t-shirt :).
Here is my ROCK Star!
