Hello everyone!
Thank you for visiting me today!
The brand new challenge starts over BBTB2 blog today. Sharon, our hostess asked  to make any project with any cut related to swimming and/or water.
There is many ways to showcase water. I love swimming and just spending time seeing water. But there is one thing I want to do, no, I am dreaming of – I want to sail away on the boat with my husband. Â Some day when our kids leave our house for their own life we’ll buy a small boat and will sail around Great lakes. But it’s going to be some day. Now I can just dream about that in this way – making a card. Here is my It’s All about Dream card.
Even the card looks very simple, I spent quite a time to make it. First I chose the cut “Sailing” from San-Francisco cartridge.
Switched off the yellow cut, as I didn’t want it to appear on card. Then I changed writing function for the background to scoring.
Here the scored part. Nice, isn’t it?
And I cut a boat from the navy card stock.
As I wanted to add something special to the card. I took negative cut and adhered it to the base scored part using removable tape.
And made some artistic mess with my watercolour paint 🙂
After everything dried completely, I put all together and added Verve sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed my card too 🙂
Love hearing about your dream! And wow! What a beautiful card Valentyna.
Wow, what a cool technique! Love the effect; thanks for sharing this!
OMGosh I love this card Valentyna!! I was wondering how you got your control splatters. I love that you scored the background, I didn’t know you could do that!!! How cool! What an amazing dream! I’m not much of a deep water person, but I would love to get a nice camper and travel the lower 48 states, but that is my dream and not hubbies. lol I hope your dream comes true my friend!!! Hugs, Brenda
Wow! Valentyna this card is amazing. I love the design, the boat, the splatters – it all works together so well. Of course I love ALL of your projects!!

Wow, this is so beautiful and peaceful. Great use of your negative cut. I love your technique and also the sailboat cut. This is so beautiful in its simplicity.
Oh my goodness gracious!! Your card is so beautiful Valentyna!!! I so love it!!!! 🙂
You could just sail away looking at your beautiful card. I’ve used that cut too – but the way you created your card with the splatter of blue is gorgeous!!!
