Hello friends!
Today is Wednesday and it’s the happiest day, because my parents are coming to visit us here in Toronto. I haven’t seen them almost 4 years and so exited that cannot wait for plane to land. Checking the airport site every hour :).
Still have many hours to wait and going to share my card for the Monochromatic palette at Colour Me. The colour of this week is PURPLE!!!
There was no doubt for me how to incorporate purple in my card. I wanted this card to be an elegant and sophisticated! I cut white frame with PTI cover plate and purple stems with Memory Box stem die. To make a background I added some watercolored splatters on the card base and after that adhered the die cut part with 3D foam tape (it was a challenge!).
Next step was – sentiment. I decided to go with purple banner and white text. I chose SSS Lovely spring stamps set and added it to the front and to the inside
Sorry for the quality of photos, spent hours taking and processing them, but didn’t get any good.

Thank you for stopping by!
Oh how wonderful. Visualizing the hugs you’ll have for your parents at the airport makes my heart happy! Love your beautiful card too!
This is gorgeous Valentyna. LOVE your design with the splattered background. I can just imagine how much time and patience was required to pop up your quatrefoil panel … but it was well worth it — so gorgeous with the purple flower on top. xx
First, I hope you’re having an amazing visit with your parents!! Second, your card is stunning!! I couldn’t wait to tell you how much I love it. That white on white background is simply divine, and really makes the purple pop!! 🙂 Julia
