Hello!
Today I have no card to share. Just poppies! I made it for my mom. My parents moved to smaller house 6 months ago and I decided to make something for the decor. And mom asked for poppies. I didn’t think long. Remembered these beauties from the back issues of Cross Stitch Gold (August 2012), design by Amanda Gregory.
Started working in April. Even though the design is pretty easy to stitch, and enjoyable, it took me almost 4 months to finish.
The colours are amazing. So cheerful and alive. You want to touch it, to feel its warm, velvet texture.
Back stitch made it pops up from fabric.
I didn’t frame as wasn’t sure which one will fit. The design is soooo awesome, that it will looks gorgeous in a simple white wooden frame or in a luxury  gold.
The poppies are gone to Ukraine. I miss them. Â A little 🙂
Thanks for dropping by!

Amazing! I think I finished my last cross stitch project 10 years ago. Became lazy I think. This is an inspiration!
