Pillow for Danniel

IMG_4876Hi everyone!
Today I have no card to share. Have something different to show. Not really, but different. I did a lot of cross stitching, you know. This time I made a project for my son Daniel. After finishing of embroidered part, realized, that’s not what I was expected to see. I mean jet. It doesn’t look real to me. Trying to save this creation I made a pillow. Pillow with pin-wheels. For the first time I did a real patchwork pinwheels. It was a challenge. But I like how it turned out. Love the bright red and blue, love dots and stripes together. Love the hand stitching around. Yes, there are many mistakes, but as for the first time… Just don’t look too close 🙂
IMG_4878 IMG_4879Daniel gave me a big smile 🙂 It’s kind of the highest mark for my amateur work.
Have a great day!

Valentyna!!! This is just fantastic – I never would have guessed it is your first try! LOve the large quilting stitches, the colors, the pin-wheel pattern, too! Speaking of LOve… those black and white pillow cases in back are darling!! Ikea?

I think you did an awesome job, girl! You’re being far too hard on yourself. Love the quilting and hand-stitches! I used to cross-stitch all the time, but it’s been a long time back now. You’re making me want to give it another go ;). TFS!
