Hello!
It’s time for the new CAS challenge over Happy Little Stampers ad for this month we ask you to try another great technique – faux mother of pearl. To get any ideas what it is, please jump over the HLS blog to check the tutorial list out.
Frankly speaking, I am not mix media person, and I don’t use that kind of technique for my really CAS card. That’s why this challenge was quite a challenge for me! Trying to leave my background white and clean, I chose to distress the piece of white paper with a few pink/purple distress inks and to add the liquid pearl on top of it. After the coloring dried out I cut few dragonflies with Cricut and adhered them to the white card base. Sentiment from HLS in SSS Doll Pink – to finish my card.

Those dragonflies looks so airy and light Valentyna! I love the look of the technique, and that you decided to use it on your focal point and not on your BG. Clever to keep your design so CAS!
