Thanks Card

IMG_6205Hello friends,
Sharing my Thanks card. Wanted to try embossing of water colored background. Actually, did it and absolutely love it. Firstly, because of fun with water coloring and secondly, because I still was able to embossed the background.
I started my card with painting the piece of Ranger water color paper with my Stabilo markers. That’s water soluble markers, which work perfectly for water color technique.
IMG_6177After background was done and dried I cut the panel with SSS stitched rectangular die and embossed with Taylored Expressions Slatter folder. For the sentiment, I cut smaller rectangular panel from 110 lb  white card stock, cut TA word “thanks” and replaced it with same cut in purple to match my background. Additional sentiment was stamped with Clearly Besotted Sugar and Spice stamp and Dusty Concord distress ink.
Freshly Made – sketch
The Paper Players – colors
AAA Card – inlaid Dies

Thank you for visiting!
Have a great day!

Gorgeous background! I love how you added the white panel in the middle, it really toned down the card to a clean and simple look. Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards!
