Hello crafty friends, happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
A new challenge starts over BBTB2Â with a theme “an apple a day”, hosting by Caroline. What a sweet theme! My first idea was making a shaker apple 🙂
There are many apple images in Design Space, but I personally love this one #M393A7, from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, I’ve got with my first Cricut. For the base, I chose square #M36182 from Cricut font and basic shapes cartridge. I simply merged both images, matched their sizes and cut on red card stock. To add a dimension I used foam 3D tape, Cuttlebug acetate for the window and Studio Katia sequins. For the sentiment, I went with SSS thanks die.
After finishing this shaker I was left with apple die-cut I couldn’t throw away and I made another card 🙂
CAS and messy thank you card. I can’t wait to see what you create!
I want to enter this card into

I love both of the cards and that you used the negative cut, also. Who doesn’t love a shaker card…such wonderful detail on both cards!
