Back to School Theme Week at Studio Katia

Welcome to our Back to School Theme Week at Studio Katia blog!

I started with one idea – square card base, the image of cute apple from the Teacher’s Apple stamp set and Stitched Nested Creative Squares die-cuts, and have got three variations of it.

Firstly, I stamped apples on the Neenah Solar White paper with Momento Black ink and colored images with Prismacolor Brush markers. Also, I left two apples white. Using Studio Katia Stitched Nested Creative Squares I die-cut frames. The middle one I used to create a shaker window for my sentiment and on top, I added green apple.

For the next card, I used leftover die-cuts and formed another window for the shaker, putting the white, uncolored apple on the middle die-cut inside the shaker.

The top panel was so bright that I decided to add a banner for my sentiment, which came from the same  Teacher’s Apple stamp set.

Here are two cards using one set die-cuts.

Next card is a simpler and faster version of first two. It is not a shaker but utilized the same die and apple image.

The white panel for the sentiment is up-raised with 3D foam tape. The apple colored in bright magenta color to match the polka dot piece on the background.
